Despatched from the factory on the 20th July 1962 to READS GARAGE Machynlleth . The bike was purchased from READS in September 1962 by Mr Davey Roberts (from Machynlleth) who used his ‘demob money’ when he left the army to buy the bike.
In 1979 he sold the bike to Mr Emile ‘Bilko” Jones who stored the
bike unused in a shed a few miles away. The bike remained there
until Mr Jones passed away in 2005. The bike has since been fully restored to the highest of standards in its ex-factory specification (the Clubman optional extras are also available and can be supplied to buyers prefered spec).
The restoration has included many modifications available from SRM
