SRM offer a Gearbox reconditioning for the following gearboxes

- Norton Early 'laydown'
- Norton/AMC Commando
- Unit Twins gearboxes
We are able to offer a full reconditioning service for the BSA, TRIUMPH and NORTON gearboxes for the UNIT and PRE UNIT twins. Each gearbox is carefully dismantled and assessed for damage and wear. A full estimate is produced for the rebuild prior to work commencing.
All gearboxes are assembled with the utmost care and all carry a full guarantee
Badly scored bearing surface on this Layshaft can be regound and a special bush made to size.
All the gears are checked for wear and replaced as required. Particular attention is paid to the condition of the teeth on the gears to ensure the harness has not be compromised.
